Adams Employees contribute over $15,000 to the United Way Campaign

Employees of Adams Telephone Co-Operative, located in Golden, IL, presented a check in the amount of $15,487.58 to Adams Duesterhaus, Director of Development and Communications of the United Way of Adams County, Inc.

The donation included a $7,500.00 matching grant from CoBank, a national cooperative bank serving vital industries across rural America. Adams was a recipient of matching funds through CoBank’s “Sharing Success” fund which supports charitable organizations and causes in the local communities of their customer-owners.

The United Way of Adams County advocates for education, financial stability and health because these are the building blocks of a good life. Jim Broemmer, Chief Executive Officer, stated “Last year Adams was the Small Business Hero Award recipient, so it was of the utmost importance to our team of dedicated individuals to exceed our campaign support for this year. We have seen the value of the impact our contributions can make on this community firsthand.”
