Adams Employees contribute over $11,000 to the United Way Campaign

Quincy, IL—Employees of Adams Telephone Co-Operative, located in Golden, IL, presented a check in the amount of $11,038.28 to Emily Robbearts, Executive Director of the United Way of Adams County, Inc.

The donation included a $5,000.00 matching grant from CoBank, a national cooperative bank serving vital industries across rural America. Adams was a recipient of matching funds through CoBank’s “Sharing Success” fund which supports charitable organizations and causes in the local communities of their customer-owners.

The United Way of Adams County advocates for education, financial stability and health because these are the building blocks of a good life. Jim Broemmer, Chief Executive Officer, stated “I’m very proud that through our shared success the dedicated employees of our organization are able to use their time and resources to support the United Way’s efforts to better our community.”
