Adams Telephone Co-Operative Announces the 2018 FRS Scholarship Program
Adams Telephone Co-Operative is pleased to announce the 2018 Foundation for Rural Services (FRS) Scholarship program, which provides our member’s students an opportunity to apply for a $2,500 scholarship to any accredited college, university or vocational school. Underscoring Adams’ commitment to our youth, we are again sponsoring the $500 Adams scholarship, which will be awarded if we do not have a FRS winner from our area.
High school seniors are encouraged to contact their guidance counselor regarding this valuable opportunity and obtain the necessary application, or download the application here.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- Have at least a C grade point average
- Be accepted by an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, university, or vocational-technical school
- Must live in a household with telephone service provided by Adams Telephone Co-Operative. These exchanges are Augusta (392), Chambersburg (327), Coatsburg/Paloma (455), Fishhook (338), Golden/La Prairie (696), Hersman (289), Lima (985), Loraine (938) Mendon (936), Meyer (647), Mindale (667), Plymouth (458), and Ursa (964).
Completed scholarship applications must be submitted to Adams Telephone Co-Operative by February 23, 2018 for the Chief Executive Officer’s signature.
