Email FAQs

If you know your password, you may change it here through the Customer Management Portal.

Password requirements:

  • Should be unique and not the same password used at other sites or services
  • At least 8 characters (12 characters recommended for user-supplied passwords)
  • Must not be same as username or contain the username
  • Must not be a common word

For security reasons, please contact our 24/7 technical support team at 877-502-3267 for password reset assistance if you cannot login or have forgotten your account credentials. Be prepared for our email support technicians to verify your identity.

To report a suspicious email, please forward the email to spam@adams.net.

I want to add Adams email to my devices/email client. What settings should I use?

Incoming Servers

IMAP Server Settings:
Server: mail.adams.net
Port: 993 (SSL required)
SSL: Enabled
Username: user@adams.net

Outgoing Server

SMTP Server Settings:
Server: smtp.adams.net
Port: 465 (SSL required)
Alternate Port: 587 (StartTLS required)
SSL: Enabled
Username: user@adams.net
*SMTP Authentication Required

Other settings, if required:
SPA: Off
IMAP Prefix: INBOX
Authentication Type: Plain or Normal Password

What are the limits?

Default Mailbox Quota: 10GB
Max Message Size: 100 MB
Outgoing Recipient Limit: 500 per message when sending via mail client, 50 per message when sending via webmail.
