Adams Telephone Co-Operative Acquires AA Communications’ Assets

Golden, IL — Adams Telephone Co-Operative proudly announces today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of AA Communications, which is a business VOIP and digital telephone system sales and service provider.   This agreement strengthens Adams business telephone offerings and combines resources to deliver a better, local solution for our joint customer needs including those requiring cloud based PBX technology.  Customers will benefit from a more robust product line and an expanded team of communication experts.

Tom Alford and his associate, Neil Van De Velde, have been retained as Adams employees and will be integral in ensuring a seamless transition for current customers. “Together, we can deliver an enhanced communication experience to a much broader audience,” said Tom Alford, owner and operator, AA Communications.  AA Communications has been in business since 1975.

Adams has over 60 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, providing telephone and broadband Internet services in places where there was previously little or no coverage.  The company is well known for business communication, Internet offerings and for investing in communities to further economic development.
