Adams Employees contribute $9,212 to the United Way Campaign

Employees of Adams Telephone Co-Operative (ATC), located in Golden, IL, presented a check in the amount of $9,212.00 to Cheryl Waterman, Executive Director of the United Way of Adams County, Inc.  Representing all of the ATC United Way donors were Brad Bliven, Pam Leffringhouse, and Meredith Gibbs.

This donation included a matching grant from CoBank, a national cooperative bank serving vital industries across rural America. For a second year, Adams was a recipient of matching funds through CoBank’s “Sharing Success” fund which supports of charitable organizations and causes in the local communities of their customer-owners.

The United Way of Adams County advances the common good by focusing on improving education, helping people achieve financial stability, and promoting healthy lives – which are the building blocks for a good quality of life.  Jim Broemmer, Chief Executive Officer, stated, “From volunteering to community activities to supporting the United Way, our employees are truly connected to their communities.  I am very proud of our employees’ accomplishments to support the United Way.”
